I got these socks to alternate out after a hike or trail run. I like to maintain arc compression with a great pair of socks.. they are my favorite part of my outfit, even if I’m just running through my day and not logging miles. These socks do a great job of moisture wicking because I do have feet that sweat even when it’s 50 degrees. The heel has a nice ample cushion too(I felt the toe box was made the same way). The cuff is wide enough it stays in place nicely. I probably should have sized to XL since I do have some edema on a regular basis from high altitude living.I have a few other pairs of TCK socks but these are the most fun patterned. I own the digital camo & full calf work socks. They have all held up beautifully with over 50 washes. My socks do get gross from the mud on the trails along with sand, leaf decay bits, and who knows what else. These socks do not stain and I don’t heat the bananas out of them to stress the elastics. I tumble dry on low for 30 minutes and if they’re still damp to any degree I hand them to dry. These are high function, easy care socks..
It’s not too often I wear long socks, but with winter being here and the first giant snowstorm we’ve had in over 10 years, that had to change quick.Since I’m all about flair and like making a statement, I figured why not pick up these ice cream socks so that the ice cream shows peeking out of my boots. These are surprisingly comfy and easy to get on, and I am pleased to say that even as a larger person, these do not grip my legs too tightly to make them uncomfortable or cut off circulation.After 3 1/2 hours of being out in the snow and shoveling away, these stocks were still dry and that’s thanks to their sweat material and breathable mesh. I really like these!
